This Skill cannot target any target which would die instantly or almost instantly upon being brought back to life (such as someone who died from "age" or someone who only has bones, but no flesh.) This Skill cannot target creatures which are Undead, or which have died 3 or more times. Staggered: You cannot use two chosen actions, which you choose and would otherwise be able to use. If you would become Staggered, but you are already Staggered, you instead become Stunned. |

Holy Water: An Undead or Demonic Creature which touches or is splashed with Holy Water gains +1 Dehydration. Any such creature submerged in Holy Water is treated as though they are submerged in magma, but this magma deals Divine Damage instead of Magma Damage. Dehydrated: When you gain this Condition, and for every 24 hours that you spend Dehydrated, you gain a -1 penalty to all d20 rolls, and decrease your maximum HP by 5. You may gain this Condition any number of times. Each time you consume 1 Water, lose a single instance of this Condition. |

This Promise must be of a goal that the target wants completed, and which is a specific goal, and not a simple singular action. "I will avenge your death" would be a valid promise but "I will make an attack against the monster" would not be. All effects of all Exertion Die rolls made to aid in the fulfillment of this Promise are maximized. You must be in the presence of the target, or an effigy to/of the target, or a sentimental object of the target's to make a promise to them (such as their grave, or their beloved cloak). If you fail to fulfill this Promise, you cannot activate this Skill, or regain or spend Exertion Die for the next week. |

Sentient undead are immune to this effect, but are aware of its presence. |
